Went down to S&S Services this week to have a look at a Subaru Outback and met a sound fella called Liam. He pointed me and my partner in the right direction, let us take the Outback for a test drive, and talked us through everything we needed to know.
There was absolutely no pressure at all, and the whole experience was straightforward from start to finish. Genuinely the best dealership experience I’ve ever had.

My wife and I had the opportunity recently to gain access to a disability car. I picked Subaru as I trust the make and have had a Subaru previously for many years.

I had my reservations about getting a disability car and how I would be treated or viewed.
The moment we met Liam, all that concern and stress disappeared in an instant.

Liam is a wonderful young guy who treated us with the upmost respect, care and concern for our needs, and especially mine, as I am the disabled person.
From the get-go Liam helped us to understand what would be involved in getting the disability car and was very confident and understanding; this helped my wife jump into an automatic car and drive one for the first time, in over 15 years.
Our last car was a manual 2012 forester, so things have changed quite a bit.

Before we set off on the test drive Liam sat with us in the car and explained how the car may react on the road and took my wife through most of the controls in the car.
She was very excited to drive now, and I could see her previous stress had all but gone.

When we came back to S&S a few weeks later, we were met by Liam once again.
He was very excited to have us back and for us to finally get our hands on the car.
The process of dealing with the paperwork and all else was done with no stress whatsoever, and the team were just fantastic in handling all the questions we had with ease and professionalism.

When it came time to get in the car, again Liam took 30 mins or so taking my wife and I through the systems in the car. The safety systems and also how to navigate the centre console.
He left nothing unexplained in my opinion.

S&S are a family run business and have been for many decades now. If you come to S&S for a vehicle, you will be treated as family, that’s how I felt during the whole process.
I was coming for a disability vehicle, not to purchase one, but in my eyes i was treated no differently.
The team there made us feel welcome and special, and that is why I will always come back.

All the staff at S & S Ayr were most helpful, especially Liam with whom we dealt. Much time was spent discussing the pros and cons of the excellent choice of vehicles on the forecourt. At no time was there any sales pressure.

Dealt with Liam, we came down from Huntly on the bus and he picked up my Wife and I. The Subaru Outback was exactly as described and and all extra requirements met. Liam knew all about the car and spent time explaining its operation in detail. We drove back home to Huntly and were impressed with this very overlooked car, not all cars are built this way. Dealt with Liam at S&S Services. He was a very polite and knowledgeable young man. Told us everything we wanted to know about our XV and more. Spent the time with us on collection day ensuring we knew how to use the tech within the car never felt like he was rushing us. Couldn’t praise the salesman and the garage enough. We have had the pleasure of dealing with Carol and Liam when buying our second-hand Outback and XV over the last couple of months. Customer service has been excellent throughout the whole process, they really do go the extra mile. A family-run business who make customers feel like family too. Even dogs get the special treatment 🙂
