Outstanding service, we bought a landrover from here but it turned out to be unsuitable for my specific needs so unfortunately had to be returned. They tried everything possible to adapt it to make it suitable but alas it wasn’t meant to be, car was returned and full refund issued with no quibbles at all, unfortunately they didn’t have what we needed in stock but we would hesitate to come back here again when we are in the market in the future. Everyone was wonderful and no hard sell at all we were left to browse, car we went to see wasn’t right for us and just happened to spot the land rover while passing so took it out for a test drive, it really was a lovely car but unfortunately just didn’t meet my long list of requirements in the end which has absolutely nothing to do with themnas they really did try and do everything possible.Highly recommend them and we shall be back when required.

Called up when a job went bad and needed a very specific part last minute. Got excellent service from Gary in the parts department right before they shut and collected the part later on in the day from the showroom. I got my car back on the road that afternoon thanks to them, definitely reccomend.

Brilliant. John the owner is very helpful. Bit of a strange manner but he’s genuine and trustworthy. I will always use them from now on. When you find a good garage, even if it’s not local, stick to it like glue.

Extremely happy with S&S Services. The staff are friendly and professional.I’ve now had my vehicle for 5 months and the only issues I’ve had are a blown side light bulb and the plastic letters came off the tailgate. Both of these were replaced free of charge in a timely fashion.

Been a customer with S & S since 2005. This review is based on the purchase of several cars and their subsequent servicing since.Have had more cars than i’d care to remember over the years (Honda, Nissan, Toyota, Mini, Volkswagen) and have been lucky with them having only experienced a few minor problems.The reason I’ve stayed with Subaru since 2005 is that there have never been any mechanical problems at all.The tyres on our other Forester had their first change at 39,000 miles and the only mechanical part which has been changed to date (42,000 miles) are the rear brake pads. This appeals to my tightwad nature :)Family life is pretty busy and it’s one less thing to think about if the car just starts, goes and gets you safely to your destination whatever the weather or (increasingly pot holed) road conditions.In terms of price I’ve found S & S to be competitive on a UK basis. I’ve never had a problem with jumping on a plane to get a better deal down south, but have never had to.Regarding the servicing, I’ve a lot of trust in Lorna and the servicing team as they have always been transparent about what is/isn’t required and despite it being a main dealer I consider the costs to be fair value.In my view these guys try harder to win and retain your business hence the rating.
